My sister-in-law just called to ask me when I was heading over to the hotel. *Color me blindsided* Apparently, the family Christmas celebration, which was scheduled for tomorow afternoon, was updated to include a "cocktails and cards by the pool" fiesta this evening as well. Not quite sure when that update was made, but each and every one of my 4 siblings neglected to inform me. I'm now in a quandry...as I have previous plans for this evening. Not just any plans, but really fun plans !! Is it horrible that I will blow off tonight's soiree? I fear that Lola (mom) will glare from the heavens at me and ruin my evening. Should I just chalk these feelings up to catholic guilt?? Oh, if only I'd not answered the phone !!
