Tampa Wrap-Up
Since TV did such a great job recapping our cabana day and departure, I'll direct you over to her blog for the details. Even with all the hassles we both caused and experienced, I'd still rent a cabana again. However, since we didn't have a functional cabana for the full rental time, I requested a credit from the hotel. I won't bore you with all the details, but let it be known that the Hard Rock Tampa is not very experienced in how to process refunds within their computer system. It took everything I had not to jump over the desk and start coding a refund program on the system. Seriously, it took at least three people and 25 minutes to credit my account.
In case there was any doubt, I had an excellent time meeting my friend, TVJunkie. Thankfully, we interacted with each other as easily in person as we have for years online. Not only am I looking forward to vacationing with her again, but I also hope that more of our online friends join in the fun !!
