Well, another family holiday has come to an end...and none too soon. I love my family, but spending 3 full days with them and their idiosyncrasies is taxing on my nerves. The 4-hour drive each way didn't add warm fuzzies either. But, in the end, I love them dearly and wouldn't trade them for the world.

The highlights? Living through a 5-hour power outage on Friday morning...Winning $250 on nickel slots when I was down to my last $2...My sister's pumpkin pie...Leftover turkey sandwich with jellied cranberries...Seeing my great-nephews and great-niece...finding a reason (any reason) to miss the Trista&Ryan overkill...and finally, walking in the door to my adoring kitties who missed me so dearly.
