OK, so now that you've rolled down the screen far enough to prove you truly want to know....here's what I have. As we've all known, Sloane is NOT the father of Syd. However, Irina and Sloane did have an affair and she was pregnant when she "died". Syd was around 6 years old at the time she disappeared. So, here's the two great spoilers...

Oooh, tubers. I'm hearing some rumblings most delicious that--hold on to your couch cushions--Lena Olin may be returning to Alias...fans have been praying all season long for the return of Spy Mommy...according to an inside source, Lena is close to signing a deal to reprise her role as Sydney's mother, Irina, for at least one episode this season. It's all part of a big reveal involving that whole crazy Sloane affair, which could include another player. Oh, sister, have I got news for you in next week's chat!

First of all, if JJ can only finagle a one-episode return of Lena, I'll take every moment I can get. I can't wait for her return. However....on a more spoilish note, let's just say that, even though I'm her pal, Kristin was not calling out to me with that "sister" phrasing at the end of her article. The other player in the affair is none other than Sydney's sister. The 20-something actress has already been cast, but her name has obviously not yet been revealed. Lastly, it seems to me that if Irina was pregnant at the time of the car crash...wouldn't the baby be "the passenger"???? Hmmmmmmmm
