Honey-Do...DONE
Is it odd that I write out honey-do lists to myself? Is that sad, or efficient? Anyway, I accomplished a great deal today on my jaunt around town to catch up on my shopping. Thanks to Grace and TV on their suggestion of looking at Salvation Army for the anchor piece to my Halloween costume. Not only did they have TWO black graduation robes to select from, but the one I purchased was 1/2 off !! Grand total, $2.66...add the $2.99 for the tiara/scepter and you've got my costume. The only piece left is a banner stating "MisJustice"...which I'm sure I can finagle with some iron-on lettering on ribbon.
I stopped by Kohl's to check out the new line of American Beauty makeup. Being a long-time Estee Lauder addict, I'm interested to try out the cheaper line...but alas, it's not in the stores and only available on-line. Still, my time wasn't wasted as I grabbed up a new winter handbag, a bathmat, two pairs of earrings, new dinnerware, and a new pair of sunglasses.
Dropped off and picked up my dry-cleaning....$48.50 - YIKES !! After that, I surely had to make a stop at the bank. I needed cash for the Seneca Casino trip on Monday.
I sat in line at a stoplight for nearly 20 minutes as John Edwards entourage made its way through town. Huh, I had my own little town hall meeting with him, although I'm sure he didn't hear a word of the lecture I was giving him.
Once I came home, I paid off my 3 credit cards...financial freedom is a great feeling. I ordered an MP3 player from overstock.com.
Karma alert....it was just reported that Edwards' plane has returned to the airport after attempting to takeoff. Looks like he's losing at least 20 minutes of his life as well. Karma Electra, baby.
